About
Ze Finance publishes one numbered financial fact every morning that pushes back on a common belief. Five rules, applied without exception: that's what makes everything else verifiable.
-
01
Two independent sources
No number is published unless it has been found in two separate searches that reach the same result. When the two diverge, the fact is dropped.
-
02
The primary source, not the retelling
An article that cites a study doesn't replace the study. The number is taken from the original document: the academic publication, the institution's report, the regulatory text.
-
03
Never a made-up number
No flattering rounding, no estimate presented as a measurement, no approximate source. A number that can't be traced to a document doesn't exist.
-
04
Caveats are part of the fact
Scope, time period, methodological biases, results that flip depending on the window chosen: the limits are published alongside the number, not afterward.
-
05
Factual tone, never sensationalist
The fact is contrarian because the numbers are, not because the wording is. No topic is covered twice.
