Data controller
The site's publisher, whose identity has been provided to the host under the conditions described in the legal notice, is the controller for the processing described below. Contact: contact@zefinance.fr.
General principle
Without your consent, the site does not set any non-essential tracker. The only data stored in your browser without consent are your display preference (light or dark), your response to the audience-measurement banner, and a temporary copy of the displayed market prices. This data stays on your device and is never shared with anyone.
Audience measurement — Google Analytics
Ze Finance uses Google Analytics to see which pages are viewed. This tool sets trackers that aren't required for the site to function: they are therefore only loaded after your explicit consent, via the banner shown on your first visit. Declining is just as easy as accepting and doesn't restrict any content.
Legal basis: your consent (article 6.1.a GDPR).
Purpose: anonymous, aggregated visit statistics.
Recipient: Google LLC, acting as a data processor.
Data processed: page views, visit duration, referrer; the IP address
is anonymized before processing.
Transfers outside the EU: Google's servers are partly located outside
the European Union; these transfers rely on the European Commission's
standard contractual clauses.
Retention period: your choice (accepted or declined) is stored in your
browser for up to thirteen months. To change it, clear the site's data in
your browser: the banner will reappear.
Newsletter — Brevo
If you sign up for the newsletter, your email address is collected and processed by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS), acting as a data processor.
Legal basis: your consent, given when signing up.
Purpose: sending you the Ze Finance newsletter, nothing else. Your
address is never sold or shared with a third party.
Retention period: until you unsubscribe. Every email includes an
immediate unsubscribe link.
Third-party components — TradingView
Some pages (notably "Markets") embed TradingView components to display market prices. Loading them involves a connection to TradingView's servers, which may set their own trackers, independent of Ze Finance. See their privacy policy for details.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Netlify, Inc. (512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States), which technically processes your browser's requests (IP address, connection logs) to serve the site's pages. See Netlify's privacy policy at netlify.com.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data protection law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and object to the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to data portability and to withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before that withdrawal. To exercise these rights, write to contact@zefinance.fr.
You may also file a complaint with the CNIL (France's data protection authority) at cnil.fr.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No sensitive data (password, payment method) is collected: the site offers no user account and no transaction.

This policy may evolve, notably if new tools are added to the site. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page.
